Today it was the turn of our Food Technology Department to launch its ACE Pupil Programme, with a host of fun activities taking place in our Technology classroom.
The ACE (Able, Creative and Engaged) Programme at Luckley is being developed as a dynamic alternative to Gifted and Talented Programmes seen in many other schools. The vision for this is to enable all our pupils to explore the subjects they enjoy beyond the confines of the curriculum.
During the lunchtime period pupils iced biscuits and created animal designs on cup cakes, as well as preparing delicious chocolate-coated fruit.
A whole host of suggestions for pupils interested in exploring Food Technology beyond the curriculum is available on the ACE section of the website.
Photos from today’s activities are also available on our Facebook page.
