On 12 and 13 November, Senior Drama students performed Black Comedy, a farce by Peter Shaffer.

“Struggling sculptor Brindsley Miller and his fiancée, Carol, are throwing a party to impress Carol’s bombastic father, Colonel Melkett, and millionaire Georg Bamberger. Just before the guests arrive, the main fuse blows, plunging the flat into darkness. What follows is a frantic romp with unexpected visitors, mistaken identities, and surprises lurking in every dark corner! Only we, the audience, can see the action that ensues in the dark.”

The play was directed by English Teacher, Mr Zachary Tiplady and was full of laughs, perfect for a dreary November evening. Well done to all involved both on stage and behind the scenes.
