There were happy faces all around as our GCSE students collected their results this morning.

With 92% A* to C grades, 68% A* to B and 28% A* to A there was plenty to smile about.

Head Jane Tudor said:

Amanda B said she was “amazed” at her results – she also achieved 8 A*s and 3 As. Amanda’s mother, Debbie Baillie said “I feel absolutely euphoric and so proud. I can’t thank the teachers at Luckley enough for working so hard to ensure that Amanda reached her full potential.” Amanda B
Georgina W Nina W was “relieved and over-joyed” with her outstanding achievement of 9 A*s and 3As. Nina is staying on at Luckley Sixth Form to study Biology, Art, Maths and French.

Freya S achieved 1A*, 5As and 3 Bs

The Latin students, shown below with Head of Classics Deborah Gummery, were particularly thrilled with a clean sweep of A* to A grades.
