Pupils were treated to a day off timetable last Friday (10 June), for Luckley’s annual ‘Challenge Day’.

Year 7 pupils took part in outdoor team-building games and a session on the climbing wall.

Year 8 enjoyed a day of circus skills, which included juggling, tight rope walking and mastering the uni-cycle.

Year 9 practised their forthcoming Musical Theatre Performance, ahead of their trip to the Isle of Wight this weekend for the PGL activities break.

Year 10 enjoyed a fantastic film-making session, during which budding actors, directors and script writers emerged!

Year 12 were treated to a ballroom dancing lesson, which provided some light-hearted fun before the students looked at the more serious issue of mental health in teenagers, during a thought-provoking workshop.

Jane Tudor, Head said: “Challenge Day is a very popular event in our school calendar. The pupils really enjoy the opportunity to work together with their friends on these fun and exciting, but some quite challenging activities!”
