Food Preparation and Nutrition Department Technician

We are looking to recruit a suitably experienced Food Preparation and Nutrition Department Technician. The ideal candidate is required to work as part of a team in the technical and practical support of the Food Preparation and Nutrition Department in order to ensure consistent excellence in the standards and achievement, teaching and learning, quality of provision and personal development of all pupils within the department.

Apart from being organised and methodical in their approach, the successful candidate will be able to work without constant supervision and have relevant practical experience in either a background of working in schools or have catering related experience as well as an awareness of food hygiene procedures.

Hours
08.45 – 12:00 Monday to Thursday (13 hours per week – term time including INSET days)
You will be required to work two days after the end of each term and two days before the start of each term.
Holiday: 6 weeks paid holiday (including bank holidays)
Remuneration: LA14 £6,563 per annum (£21,170 FTE).

Kitchen Assistant

Required for January 2020

We are looking for a kitchen assistant to work Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 13:30.

Duties will include vegetable and salad preparation, salad bar production and presentation, assisting the chefs with lunch and general kitchen cleaning duties. This is a term time only role.

Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a kitchen assistant to work the following hours:

Wednesday to Friday from 15:00 to 18:00
Saturday 14:30 to 18:00
Sunday 09:30 to 18:00 (with an hour lunch break)

Duties will include vegetable/salad preparation, cooking and presenting the boarders with their evening meal. In addition to this the Sunday duty will include cooking breakfast, preparing a snack for the boarders and cooking their evening meal as well as carrying out any preparation duties for Monday.
