At Luckley, we believe that a personal visit to meet our pupils and staff is invaluable for prospective families. We hold Open Events each term, providing families with an opportunity to meet Mrs Jane Tudor, the Head and other academic staff .
Autumn Term Open Morning – Saturday 3 October 2020 Book Now
We offer an Open House most Friday mornings during term time – you can arrive for coffee with Mrs Tudor at 9.30am, followed by a tour of the school.
Although there is no need to book, it would be helpful for our planning if you were to register your attendance either via the website booking form or by emailing the Registrar, Mrs Claire Crombie on Registrar@luckleyhouseschool.org.
We welcome families for individual appointments. A typical visit will include a meeting with the Head, an individual school tour with a pupil as your guide, and a discussion with the Registrar to answer any questions you might have following your tour.
Most families visit us for both an Open Event and an individual appointment.
We hold this event in the summer term. Current Year 5 pupils from a whole host of schools join us for the day to experience a taste of Luckley life, where they will enjoy a variety of activities and have the opportunity to make friends and socialise with other Year 5 pupils.
Thursday 11 June and Thursday 18 June 2020 Book Now
We hold this event in the autumn term. Current Year 6 pupils join us for the day to experience a typical day of lessons, including both academic subjects and co-curricular activities. Your child will have the opportunity to make friends and socialise with other Year 6 pupils.
Tuesday 3 November 2020
Our Year 7 Taster Day is an academic day covering the core subjects, but it follows an interesting and fun-filled theme of “Forensics and Code Breaking”. The aim is for prospective pupils to spend the day with our Year 7 pupils, make new friends, enjoy the challenge of new and exciting activities, and experience a taste of life at Luckley House School.
February 2021 (Date TBC)
Prospective students and parents are invited to attend an Introduction to Sixth Form Evening in the autumn term. The evening consists of speeches by the Head of Sixth Form and current students, followed by a subject fair, where students can visit individual stands and talk to the specialist teachers.
Thursday 24 September 2020 Book Now
This is a set Taster Day for our current Year 11 students, which external candidates are also welcome to join.
Alternative Sixth Form Taster Days are available each term. These days are flexible and can be organised for external candidates at mutually convenient times.
Students are offered informal interviews during the taster day to discuss subject choices with reference to interests, aptitudes and possible career plans.
Please contact Mrs Crombie, Registrar for further information or to book a place on any of the above events. You can also book via the ‘Arrange a Visit‘ tab on the Homepage.
