Luckley House Library

The Jubilee Library

The Jubilee Library, opened in 2002, is a stunning space comprising of an open plan downstairs area and a mezzanine floor that is for use exclusively by Sixth Form students.

We have over 7000 books and a number of periodicals. Our resources include fiction, non-fiction, poetry, short stories, quick reads, graphic novels and study guides.

We welcome pupils into the library before school, during break, lunch and after school for supervised prep.

Access our online library system (Reading Cloud)

Pupils can log in to their library account and search, reserve and renew items remotely.

We place great emphasis on reading for pleasure and are constantly encouraging our students to read by various initiatives throughout the year including the Summer Reading Challenge, the House Reading Challenge, World Book Day events and author visits.

Years 7-9 have fortnightly Library Lessons where they are inspired by the Librarians to try new books and authors.

Leaflets and displays offer our students guidance if they are not sure what to read – and they can always ask a Librarian – we love talking about books!
