We are pleased to announce the opening of our online uniform shop. To place an order, please go to www.thedirectclothing.co.uk and in the School Shops option, search for Luckley House.  You can then order and pay in the same way as any webshop.

All items of the Luckley uniform are also available to purchase from the Uniform Shop, based at the School.  Personal appointments with the Uniform Coordinator are made for each new pupil.

Uniform Shop Arrangements

We are currently encouraging all uniform orders to be placed online at www.thedirectclothing.co.uk.
Once your order has been processed you will receive details for collection which will be from school during shop opening hours (Tuesday 12:45-1:45pm and Thursday 3:45-4:45pm).

Returns/Exchanges – Any returns should be brought to the uniform shop during opening hours. We are currently unable to process exchanges. Please return the unwanted item in original condition/packaging for a full refund and re-order the required item online.

The school shop is now open to walk-in customers. Please report to reception and sign in. Face coverings are required, and social distancing will be adhered to. Individual appointments can also be made by contacting the uniform shop via e-mail at uniformshop@luckleyhouseschool.org.

Summer Holiday Arrangements 2021

During the summer holiday period, current pupils are encouraged to place uniform orders online at www.thedirectclothing.co.uk.

Once your order is processed you will receive an e-mail detailing arrangement for collection from school. Orders of stock items should be ready for collection from mid-August.

In order to ensure social distancing and to keep within current Covid restrictions, the uniform shop will not be open for walk-ins. However, should you require a personal appointment please e-mail uniformshop@luckleyhouseschool.org.

Sixth Form

Sixth Formers wear a dark business suit on Mondays to Friday morning with relaxed dress on Friday afternoons. The business suit must be dark coloured i.e. black, navy, grey or pin-striped. Boys may wear a tie of their choice and black leather shoes in keeping with business attire.

The relaxed dress code is smart casual and can include jeans, as long as they are not ripped or faded. No tracksuit bottoms, combat trousers or shorts must be worn, but smart cropped trousers are acceptable. Tee-shirts with cartoons or slogans are not appropriate.  Shoes should be sensible and safe – no flip flops or shoes where the back has been flattened.

Sixth Formers will also need a PE kit of their choice.

When choosing clothes for your child to bring into boarding, please remember that they will be put through a commercial rather than a domestic washing machine. All items must be named.

General Appearance

  • Long hair must be worn off the face and collar, tied back in a style that does not interfere with clear vision or safety requirements.
  • Hair must not be coloured and make-up must not be worn.
  • Girls’ skirts must be on, or no more than 5cms above, the knee.
  • The blazer is compulsory throughout the year.
  • Pupils may wear a wrist watch, a discreet plain gold/silver cross (or other religious symbol) and chain and one pair of simple studs, one in each pierced earlobe. Other items will be confiscated for at least one week.

Second Hand Uniform Shop

The Second Hand Uniform (SHU) Shop is run by Luckley House Friends and all monies raised are used to fund projects at the school. The SHU has a
dedicated space in school and is open at set times during the term for parents to come and purchase items.
