We offer a boarding package for international students wishing to come to Luckley for a minimum of one term into Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12, ultimately to improve their English language and experience a British education.
The all-inclusive fee includes all food, books, extra-curricular activities, *boarding trips, EAL lessons and transport to and from the airport on specified dates.
One hour per week to include conversational group lessons geared around general everyday and academic English, and if required, 1:1 sessions for focusing on writing and grammar.
Students will share a bedroom with at least one other boarder. Wherever possible we will ensure that students of the same nationality are not sharing so as to encourage English language speaking. There are shared common rooms for all boarders to relax and socialise together during their free time.
There is a full programme of after-school activities available throughout the school week and all boarders are encouraged to participate.
Weekend trips will include cultural visits to London and Windsor, as well as leisure activities.
*In addition, optional year group or subject related trips may be available at extra cost.
Year 7- 9 students will follow a broad, balanced programme of study including: English, Drama, Mathematics, Science, *Modern Languages (French, German, Spanish), Engineering, Geography, History, Religious Studies, Art, Computer Science, Music, Photography, Physical Education, Textiles Technology, Food and Nutrition and 4U, our Personal and Social Education programme

Year 10 students will study the core subjects of Maths, English Language, English Literature, Science and MFL and will choose four further subjects from the following: Art, Business, Chinese (Mandarin), Computer Science, Drama, Design & Technology, Food Preparation & Nutrition, Geography, History, Music, Photography, Physical Education and Religious Studies.
Every student is issued with a Personal Notebook Computer when they start at Luckley, which is theirs until they leave the school. The Notebooks are used in most lessons and also for prep and personal study.
At the end of the term, each student will receive a record of study for each subject, as well as a personal report from the Form Tutor and Head of Boarding.
The school will loan short term pupils a blazer, skirt (girls) and a tie (boys) for the duration of their stay at Luckley. Science overalls will be provided.

Girls: Plain navy jumper, white blouses, short white socks, navy tights.
Boys: Plain navy jumper, charcoal trousers, white shirts, short grey socks.
Games Wear: Navy shorts, pale blue T shirt, plain jogging bottoms, 2 pairs of trainers (indoors and outdoors). Short term boarders often like to purchase a branded hoodie from the Uniform Shop as a keepsake.
Equipment: Sports bag, shin pads, mouth guard, padlock.
