We provide a distinctly academic education that is tailored to the individual needs of each pupil. This is offered in the context of a broad curriculum which celebrates the arts and sports, as much as academic achievement. Our small class sizes enable full participation in lessons and we closely track individual progress and attainment of targets.
In 2018, our average ‘value added’ was 0.7 GCSE grade, which means that our pupils achieved an average of a grade higher in at least 70% of their GCSE subjects than pupils of similar ability in other schools.
This will enable your child to begin his/her A Level studies at Luckley in the best possible position to achieve the grades that will secure a place at the university of choice, or to secure highly regarded employment or apprenticeship opportunities.
Our students consistently gain places at prestigious universities on competitive courses. Recent leavers’ destinations include Architecture at Bath, Medicine, Philosophy, Law, Physics and Maths at Durham and Economics at University College London. Other students have gone on to study Art, History, Engineering and Drama, amongst other subjects.
