At Luckley, we believe that a personal visit to meet our pupils and staff is invaluable for prospective families. We hold Open Day events each term, providing families with an opportunity to meet the Mrs Jane Tudor, Head and other academic staff .
Summer term – Open Evening – Thursday 8 June 2017 – 6pm to 8pm Book Now
We offer an Open House every Friday morning during term time – you can arrive for coffee with Mrs Tudor at 9.30am, followed by a tour of the school.
Although there is no need to book, it would be helpful for our planning if you were to register your attendance either via the website booking form or by emailing the Registrar, Mrs Claire Crombie on Registrar@luckleyhouseschool.org.
We welcome families for individual appointments. A typical visit will include a meeting with the Head, an individual school tour, with a pupil as your guide, and a discussion with the Registrar to answer any questions you might have following your tour.
Most families visit us for both an Open Day event and an individual appointment.
Year 5 Taster Day
We hold this event in the summer term. Current Year 5 pupils from a whole host of schools join us for the day to experience a taste of Luckley life, where they will enjoy a variety of activities and have the opportunity to make friends and socialise with other Year 5 pupils.

Year 6 Taster Day
We hold this event in the autumn term. Current Year 6 pupils join us for the day to experience a typical day of lessons, including both academic subjects and co-curricular activities. Your child will have the opportunity to make friends and socialise with other Year 6 pupils.
Year 7 Taster Day
Our Year 7 Taster Day is an academic day covering the core subjects, but it follows an interesting and fun-filled theme of “Forensics and Code Breaking”. The aim is for prospective pupils to spend the day with our Year 7 pupils, make new friends, enjoy the challenge of new and exciting activities, and experience a taste of life at Luckley House School.
Sixth Form Taster Days
A Sixth Form Taster Day is held each term for students to participate in new subject lessons, such as Psychology, Classical Civilisation, Philosophy and Ethics, and Economics and Business Studies. Students are offered informal interviews to discuss subject choices with reference to interests, aptitudes and possible career plans.
