Head

The Board of Governors is now seeking a passionate educationalist with a commitment to all-round excellence to lead a unique independent school.

The new Head will relish the opportunity to facilitate and drive forward the School’s aims in terms of improvement in teaching and learning, personal development and skills, stability and structure. They will work closely with the Board of Governors and the Executive Team to ensure successful outcomes in terms of improved academic attainment and emotional and social wellbeing, raised aspirations and greater social capital.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate their financial and strategic acumen, leading on key initiatives which have been ratified by the Board with the capability and appetite to drive the School’s strategic development at a critical time in its history. Responsible for every aspect of the School’s day-to-day operation and for its development and performance, they will set the highest standards for staff and pupils and lead by example. A committed Christian, they will be an inspiring, forward-thinking leader, driven in the pursuit of excellence and able to win the confidence and trust of the whole school community.

Teacher of Maths

Permanent, full time
Salary: Competitive Required for September 2025

We are looking to appoint a well-qualified, innovative, and enthusiastic full-time Teacher of Mathematics. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach across all Key Stages, up to and including A Level. The ability to teach Further Maths at A Level would be an advantage.

You will be joining a small, dedicated and highly successful Mathematics Department, committed to improvement and passionate about teaching and learning. We are a close-knit group, and each member is an integral part of the team, working together, sharing ideas, and developing resources cohesively.

We encourage all pupils to reach their full potential and be the best they can be, no matter what their motivation towards Maths may be.

This role could also be suitable for an ECT.

Kitchen Assistant

Permanent, part time, term time only

£12.01 per hour    To start: January 2025

 We are looking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant to work in our state-of-the-art kitchen as part of a dedicated, friendly and professional team to provide high quality catering to the school community.  Previous experience of working in a busy kitchen is preferable but not essential.

Hours are flexible, to cover the following:

  • Thursday evenings from 17:00 to 19:30
  • Saturday mornings from 09:30 to 12:00
  • Saturday evenings from 16:30 to 19:30
  • Sunday mornings from 09:30 to 12:00.

We offer a competitive rate of pay of £12.01 per hour.
