On Friday morning, our Year 9 pupils took part in an ‘It’s a Knockout’ Team Building Day on the school’s sports field – and what a way to start their Upper School journey!
The morning was filled with energy, laughter, and teamwork as pupils tackled a series of exciting challenges. Featuring inflatables, foam, and a selection of games inspired by the original ‘It’s a Knockout’ TV show, the event provided the perfect opportunity for our new Year 9s to mix with their peers and get to know existing pupils.
Mr Humphrey, Head of Upper School, said,
“The teambuilding day was a fantastic way for Year 9 to begin their time in Upper School; they all threw themselves into every activity and were a credit to the school and themselves. It was also a wonderful opportunity to develop and strengthen relationships within their tutor and year groups, laying the foundations for a positive and successful year ahead.”
After a lively morning of team spirit and fun, pupils were treated to a delicious BBQ lunch, provided by our amazing catering team. Enjoyed together under clear blue skies, it was the perfect way to round off a memorable day.
